{Food Truck Friday: Tasty Kabob}

Happy Friday, everyone! I actually was not planning to do a food truck post today but my co-worker peer pressured me into trying out Tasty Kabob. After that lunch, I had to write a post! I had avoided this truck for awhile because I judged a book by its cover and thought this kabob truck would be all about falafel. Despite my best efforts, I’m not a big fan of falafel. Anyway, I decided to give it a whirl and I was rather happy I did!

As you might know, chicken souvlaki is my favorite food so when I looked at their menu and saw souvlaki, I was pretty pumped. For $9, I had the chicken over salad and ordered it spicy, which it certainly was! Normally, you receive a side with your order but they didn’t have potatoes so I opted out of a side. This salad really hit the spot, I actually had a very small dinner because hours later, I was still full!

While normally not a kabob truck gal, I changed my tune after trying out Tasty Kabob!

Chicken over a salad of romaine, tomatoes and red onions with a tzatziki dressing. The only downside was I wish it came with a fresh, warm pita. Other than that, no complaints here!

Happy Friday & enjoy your Memorial Weekend!
