When my favorite DC bakery Baked & Wired tweeted they were introducing the Pumpkin Shmumkin last weekend, I made a mental note to get my hands on one of those bad boys ASAP. Pumpkin spice ice cream between two molasses cookies??? Genuine, pure, unadulterated happiness. Combine with a beautiful fall weekend in DC and my riding boots and I am one happy DC girl.

The Pumpkin Shmumkin was just as wonderful as I had hoped, I feel like it’s truly fall now! Riding boots, foliage and a pumpkin spice ice cream sandwich. It doesn’t get much better than that.

I found them at the GUESS outlet a year ago on Black Friday, I love them because they’re so simple. I love riding boots but I don’t like when they have a ton of buckles and details!
