Mother’s Day Brunch Ideas

I promise I’ll be quiet this morning because it’s May 6th and there’s a solid chance you ate a lot of queso or maybe more than 2 margaritas. Between Derby + Cinco, the last week has been a whirlwind so let’s dial it back. Grab your coffee, tea or Gatorade and let’s talk about Sunday brunch.

Look at that, not a single exclamation point. Told ya I’ll be quiet today.

I dropped my mother’s package off at the post office yesterday and while I wish I could be up in New York with her + our guys, I know my dad will treat her to her favorite crepes breakfast. Now for the rest of us who didn’t get a crepe maker for a retirement gift, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite dishes to fuel your Mother’s Day brunch ideas. There’s some sweet donuts, savory vegetarian stuffed peppers + for the heck of it, my object of obsession: pulled chicken + mango pineapple salsa tacos.

I’m like a taco pusher. But real talk: by Sunday, you’ll be jonesing for a taco. Be honest. So let’s celebrate our moms + those people in our lives who are like our moms by whipping up something delicious.

Because nothing says lovin’ like something from the oven.
