Okay, I just had to sneak in one more plaid holiday outfit! I couldn’t help it, there’s nothing like a festive holiday plaid to make the season bright. I’m shuffling off to Buffalo on Thursday to spend Christmas with my family so this week I’m tying up loose ends and getting everything ready to go for the New Year! I have a few happy hours after work this week and so you can bet I’ll be wearing this outfit one day, I love how seamlessly this holiday plaid outfit goes from desk to drinks. This holiday plaid outfit also works great for an office holiday party.
I’ve had this J.Crew schoolboy blazer since college and I can’t tell you how much wear I get out of it. From jeans and riding boots on the weekend to throwing it over a dress for an easy Monday work outfit, this blazer is easily in the Top 5 Wardrobe Pieces I Can’t Live Without. Today, my navy blazer is getting into the holiday spirit with a merry plaid skirt! My exact skirt is sold out but Old Navy has a similar skirt that’s only $17. Even Scrooge is on board with that price! The ivory ruffle blouse is another work week staple, I probably wear it every other week (Last seen on the blog here) and unfortunately, it’s also sold out. Ann Taylor has a practically identical blouse (40% off with code JOY) so I highly suggest you get one while they’re still in stock!
I’ve been relying on my NARS matte lip pencil in Cruella this holiday season, its long lasting color survives glasses of wine and even appetizers. Talk about a Christmas miracle.
Armed with my trusty Coach satchel, I am all set to leave my desk at 5 and meet up with friends to have a glass of bubbly (or two). It’s almost Christmas after all…!
