Winter White for Work

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a work outfit but after the winter white jeans post, I knew I wanted to create a winter white look for the office. You can’t go wrong with a white pencil skirt and it seems wrong to leave it hanging in my closet just waiting until after Memorial Day. So let’s style winter white for work!

This black sweater has been in heavy rotation lately, it’s incredibly soft and cozy. Paired with jeans and a statement necklace, it’s a casual-yet-put-together weekend look. Or even just with jeans, sneakers + a baseball hat to run errands. But now it’s time to bring this black sweater to work! Tucked into the pencil skirt, it creates a streamlined silhouette and the perfect blank canvas to accessorize.

Let’s go with burgundy.

I’ve had these Sole Society Mary Jane pumps for a few years now (Check them out in this post from 2013!) and always look forward to pulling them out in the fall and winter. They’re no longer available on Sole Society but SS does have a similar red wine Mary Jane pump and a red wine block heel pump. I also love wearing these shoes with my black Minnie pants! It was time to jazz up these tried ‘n true pumps so I took a bow brooch and added it to the strap, giving the outfit a subtle feminine vibe.

The burgundy pumps just happened to match oh-so-perfectly with my Coach Saddle Bag 23 (last styled here), it was meant to be! The saddle bag is surprisingly roomy and holds my iPhone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses. On the weekends, I also fit my Pure Barre socks and a small towel if I’m heading to a Platform class. The bag does (and holds) it all!

Since this workwear look is overall pretty minimal, it’s safe to bring the tassel earrings to the office. Nothing like a fun accessory to put you in a happy mood to start your day!
