DC Gallery Wall

DC Gallery Wall | @dcgirlinpearls

I decided to create a Washington, DC-inspired gallery wall about 3 years ago with just a few prints and since then, I am constantly on the hunt to add to the collection. It’s such a thrill when you find the perfect puzzle piece to fill in the gallery wall. It’s also nice when a puzzle piece finds you first.

Jennifer, the talented artist behind the print below, reached out to me to review a print for Modern Map Art and I jumped at the chance. Her prints are incredibly detailed and come in several colors but I loved the simplicity of the black and white Washington DC print to add balance. I also loved how reasonably priced these prints are – not too mention that they also come in countless cities around the world! Even if you’re not a DC resident, you’ll definitely find a city print that has a special place in your heart. You can check out Jennifer’s city prints here, there’s even a Buffalo one!

I love how this print makes me think of all the places in DC I’ve lived since I moved here for college. It also reminds me of all the parts of the city I have yet to explore. With the weather looking up, I’m going to create a DC spring/summer bucket list to check off. What’s your favorite part of the city? Where should I check out?

I also want to make a DC spring/summer bucket list and need ideas! I know there is so much to do in our city, but sometimes I still struggle to find out what fun things I need to check out. I can’t wait to get inspiration from your list!

This is so cute! I would love to create a gallery wall like this in my home…maybe a fun one of all the cities my husband and I have explored together!
