4 Back In Stock Favorites for Fall

Happy Monday! How was your weekend?

This was my first weekend actually being in DC in almost a month so I went wild. And by wild, I mean some serious apartment cleaning and tackling the mountain of laundry. My laundry basket was starting to look like Mt. Washmore.

Last weekend, my friends and I drove up to Annapolis on Saturday morning to kick off football season with Navy vs. Tulane. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision and I loved every minute of it. Annapolis is such a beautiful town and the weather was perfect for tailgating.

After being out of town three weekends in a row, I feel like I blinked and it was suddenly fall.

Of course, in DC fall weather takes its sweet time getting here. So while I’m not packing up all of my warm weather wardrobe (Spacebags are a lifesaver when you have a small apartment), I’m pretty excited to break out some fall favorites. And good news – 4 of my fall favorites that are back in stock for another season.

Before we dive in, I’m excited to say I’m back with regular M-W-F posts. It feels good to be back in the swing of things again : )

Plaid Blanket Scarf: $45

I had to start with a blanket scarf! Believe it or not, the blanket scarf is pretty versatile. I love using mine as a shawl in the early fall months and then in late fall bundling the scarf under your jacket to stay cozy. I even use it as an actual blanket when my office feels more like a freezer. My blanket scarf is also very reasonably priced at $45!

Bean Boots: $129

Fall in DC can be a roller coaster of weather. Thankfully, my Bean boots can handle whatever DC decides to throw at them. You’re going to want to scoop up these Bean boots while you can – they’ve sold out by Thanksgiving for the last few years. Mine are the 8 inch classic boots and were true to my usual shoe size.

Slightly Fitted Flannel Shirt: $49

Another fall essential from the folks at L.L. Bean. Like the Bean boots, their slightly fitted flannel shirts sell out pretty quickly so consider this the time to stock up. I love their slightly fitted flannel shirts because it makes me feel more put-together even if I’m just throwing it on with jeans and riding boots to run errands. You can also dress up the shirt like I did for an comfy + cute Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving outfit.

Long Sleeve Stripe Shirt: $45 – Currently on Sale for $26

Talbots White Jeans

Original Post

This long sleeve stripe shirt is on frequent rotation in my fall wardrobe (See first outfit above) because it’s the perfect balance between a light shirt and a heavier one. It’s perfect on its own in the early fall and also works well for layering a button down underneath when you need extra warmth. I’d wear this outfit with my navy gingham shirt underneath and a puffer vest for a November brunch – maybe even my birthday brunch? Plus the stripe shirt is currently on sale for $26! You can’t beat that price for a shirt you’ll wear again and again.

I have that striped shirt, and it’s almost embarrassing how often I wear it. I love that outfit with the plaid shirt!
