Black Friday Sales To Shop Early

The Shirt in Stripe + Plaid Blanket Scarf | @dcgirlinpearls

Happy Thanksgiving from Arizona!!

It’s my family’s first Thanksgiving not in Buffalo and guys, it’s 87 degrees in Phoenix right now. Which is approximately 60 degrees warmer than I usually am at Thanksgiving. We’re eating Thanksgiving dinner outside. OUTSIDE.

So it’s safe to say that I’m not wearing the leggings, button-down and blanket scarf above. In fact, I’m sweating just at the thought of it.

Before I get swept up in Thanksgiving meal prep (with the Kennel Club on in the background per tradition – funny story about that I’ll share later), I thought I’d share five awesome Black Friday sales you can shop from the comfort of your kitchen/couch/a patio chair outside next to a cactus!

My Outfit

My cozy blanket scarf that has been clutch the last few days with the crazy wind is now $25!! And it comes in 5 different patterns. Lou & Grey leggings are also a god-send. They’re thicker than regular leggings and I get so much wear out of them but they still look brand new after years of wear. Right now my Lou & Grey ponte leggings are $30 from LOFT with code “GIFTITUP.”

J.Crew Factory

Everything at J.Crew Factory is 50% off this year, including new arrivals + sale, online and in stores. Now’s the time to stock up! I’ve got this patterned blazer in iced lilac navy (That’s a mouthful) and this bell sleeve top (How cute would it be with gold tassel earrings for a holiday party?) on my wish list. Also loving this $44 black flounce dress for office holiday happy hours. You should also add their flannel PJ pants to your cart right now, I practically lived in mine last winter. They’re down to $16.95 from $40 so seriously jump on that!

L.L. Bean

L.L. Bean apparel + outerwear is 20% off sitewide + in stores with code “THANKS20.” Plus an extra $10 gift card for a future order if you spend $50+. If you missed their big sale a few weeks back, now is your chance to make up for lost times. Sadly, their Bean boots aren’t eligible in this promotion. But some of my very favorite L.L. Bean pieces are so let’s look on the bright side. You need to add this sweater fleece pullover to your cart ASAP!! It’s the softest pullover I’ve ever owned and has a kangaroo pocket. Doesn’t get much better than that. Also love my fisherman sweater and I’m toying with the idea of adding their fisherman tunic to my own cart. The tunic is longer than their traditional sweater and how cute is the zipper detailing on the side? If you’re looking for outerwear, their quilted riding jacket is my #1. I have mine in dark ivy, this jacket has kept me warm through the last 5 winters.

TALBOTS

Talbots is 40% off your entire purchase and 50% off a single item. I love Talbots for my work wardrobe because it’s colorful, feminine and is appropriate for a conservative-dress work environment. I know I’ll be using the 50% off single item on this checked blazer. I mean, that pop of collar is just too good! Talbots holiday apparel + accessories right now are making me feel merry + bright, especially these shoes! I’d pair this perfectly pink pom pom shell with a black blazer for an office party and accessorize with these D’orsay flats.

J.Crew

J.Crew’s sale 40% off with code “THANKU” and is through the weekend. The theme of J.Crew’s new arrivals for the holidays: Plaid and bows. And I’m really loving it. Let’s start with this party-ready top tied with a fun bow in the back! This is pretty much the answer to my “What on earth do you wear for Christmas Eve in the desert?!” dilemma so expect to see this top make an appearance on the blog in the coming weeks ha! Also really into their black watch belted sheath dress. It’s incredibly figure-flattering and 100% perfect to wear to a work holiday reception. I’d pair it with a blazer and a sparkly necklace. If you’re more of a pants gal, J.Crew has these awesome slim crop black watch pants. Oh and J.Crew’s cashmere is ON SALE so jump on it. Their everyday crewneck cashmere comes in a variety of colors, I have my eye on heather orchid and camel. Also, these sequin ball-drop earrings are pretty much the most festive holiday earrings EVER. I’d wear them every single day if I could.

Waiting on Martha

I thought I’d mix it up and add in a favorite small business of mine! If you’re looking to entertain this season or just want to add some cute + quirky touches to your home decor, Waiting on Martha has got you covered. Right now Waiting on Martha is 10% off sitewide with “THANKS10.” If you spend $50-$99, you get 15% off with code “THANKS15.” I can’t stop cracking up over these cocktail napkins with bees that say “Buzzed!” And what home bar is complete without a pineapple cocktail tumbler?! December is always a really busy time for me at work so I feel like I’m rarely at my apartment for that long. Which means I rarely decorate my apartment for Christmas. Waiting on Martha has several Christmas accent pieces like this holly jolly small bowl to give my small space a dose of Christmas cheer! Or this campfire coffee mug that’s pretty much made for hot chocolate…with extra marshmallows of course ; )

Happy Thanksgiving and happy shopping!
