Beautycounter 15% Off Sale! My List of Absolute Favorites You Need to Try

My Favorite Beautycounter Products - DC Girl in Pearls

Big big BIG news, guys!! Beautycounter, which pretty much never goes on sale, is having a 15% off sale right nowI think the last time they had a sale was in November for Black Friday so this sale is a rare occurrence.

If you’re been interested in trying out better beauty products, now is a great time to get on board.

I started using Beautycounter several months ago in an effort to clean up my beauty and skincare products. As I get older, I’m starting to be more conscious about what I’m putting into my system – and that’s extended not only to my diet but to my skincare.

The reason I love Beautycounter is because I know their products are not only safe but effective. I don’t have the time, or frankly the funds, to buy and test every beauty product under the sun. Beautycounter takes out the guesswork for me.

That said, not all of my makeup and skincare comes from Beautycounter. I follow an 80/20 guideline, similar to my diet. I know I sound like a broken record but the way I view my skincare and makeup products is like swapping out zucchini noodles for pasta but indulging in a glass of wine or a slice of really good garlic bread. If I use a beauty product I love that’s not necessarily clean, I won’t sweat about it. If a beauty product is clean but doesn’t work for me, I’m not going to use it. Plain and simple.

Okay, here it comes, the list of my favorite Beautycounter products – get ’em before the run out!

Clean Beauty + Beautycounter Favorites - DC Girl in Pearls

Skincare

Cleansing Balm: If you get one product from this sale, it should be the Cleansing Balm. I got hooked on their Cleansing Balm after receiving a sample of it in one of my orders (Well played, BC, well played). This balm really does it all: It removes your makeup, washes your face AND is a deep overnight mask. Basically it’s my skincare routine all rolled into one product. It removes all my eye makeup with about a dime-sized amount and a cotton ball. And it comes in a travel size, too!

Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion: I love this lotion! It’s lightweight, scentless & provides your skin with hydration for 24 hours (🙌🏻 since I have dry skin). When I first heard that it adjusts hydration levels throughout the day, I rolled my eyes so hard + thought uh huh.okay. I was wrong. It makes my skin feel smoother than ever before and I like how quickly it absorbs.

Overnight Resurfacing Peel: This is another product that I became hooked on after receiving a sample of it. I’ve noticed a difference in balancing out my skin tone and the Overnight Resurfacing Peel even helped a few sunspots disappear. And don’t worry! Despite its name, there is no actual peeling taking place! It also comes in a travel size.

Lip Conditioner: This lip conditioner came into my life at exactly the right moment. I woke up one day with zero moisture in my lips because of the winter. Beautycounter’s lip conditioner smells peppermint fresh and I keep it in my purse so I can apply it throughout the day. Also was so nice for traveling over Thanksgiving and Christmas since airplanes can be super drying.

Charcoal Cleansing Bar: This was a big switch for me since I’m a low-key body wash + gel hoarder (Thank goodness I live alone, otherwise it’d be really embarrassing). Before I tried out this bar, I couldn’t tell you the last time I bought a bar of soap. But this charcoal cleansing bar is a game changer. If you’re scent-sensitive, this cleansing bar has no scent in it and is ideal for oily (hello, me) and blemish-prone skin. It raises the bar (…I had to) and I could see a difference after using it, my skin definitely looked smoother. And if you live with your significant other or they’re over a lot, the charcoal cleansing bar looks more masculine. You know, for their sensitive skin and egos 🙃

No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil: I absolutely love the No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil‘s citrus-y scent! Instantly boosts my mood. When I need a radiance boost in the morning, I apply just a small bit – a little goes a long way. It also absorbs really quickly. Sometimes, I’ll use this facial oil at night right before I apply my moisturizer.

Makeup

Brilliant Brow Gel:This right now is my #1 favorite Beautycounter product!! With my blonde hair, my eyebrows are also quite fair – which means sometimes in photos I look like I have no eyebrows at all. It’s not a good look, guys. I picked up this brow gel thinking it couldn’t hurt and was blown away by how much of a difference it made. The Brilliant Brow Gel makes my eyebrows look fuller and darker, making them look more distinct on my face. I could gush more here but you can read all about my love for this product in this post. I use the Light color.

Volumizing Mascara: When it came to picking a mascara, I always just tossed whatever mascara caught my eye at Walgreens into my cart. I tried Beautycounter’s Volumizing Mascara on a whim and haven’t looked back. It never goes on clumpy and noticeably makes my eyelashes look fuller. And it lasts all day! I’ve recommended this mascara to several girl friends, who have all loved it. I’m on my second one, that’s how much I use + love it!

Sheer Lipstick: When I want to give my lips a break from being dried out with matte lipstick, I’ll reach for my sheer lipstick. It provides great color and lasts surprisingly long! I have the Rose hue – and I’ll be adding another color thanks to this sale.

Lip Gloss: And when I want to switch it up from my sheer lipstick, lip gloss is on deck! I’ve got the Peony shade and let’s be real, what girl doesn’t need more peonies in her life?

Satin Powder Blush: I love Beautycounter’s satin powder blush in guava. It looks so natural and gives my cheeks a complexion-flattering pop of color that doesn’t scream “SHE’S WEARING BLUSH!” Like my irrational fear thought blush did.

What I’m Buying from the Sale

Dew Skin: With summer approaching, I’m more conscious of making sure I apply SPF every day. I’m excited to try out Dew Skin – it’s a tinted moisturizer that provides hydration, SPF 20, sheer coverage + a dewy glow. And who doesn’t want a dewy glow? Sign me up! I’ll let you know how it works out.

Sheer Lipstick: I love my sheer lipstick in Rose and I’d like to add another one to my collection for the summer. Right now I’m choosing between Lily or Poppy.

Angled Blush Brush: I’ve heard Beautycounter brushes getting rave reviews so I’m curious if they live up to the hype. They’re really reasonably priced, the blush brush is normally priced at $35.
