cast iron skillet season

Last week, I added a prized possession to my kitchen gadgets cabinet: a Lodge cast iron skillet. This bad boy is heavy and could probably work double time as a self-defense weapon. Talk about bang for your buck.

I spent the weekend searching for skillet recipes and I can already tell I’m going to get a lot o’ mileage out of my cast iron. From cookies to seafood, the Lodge skillet can do it all. So get ready for a plethora of skillet-based Sunday posts this fall and winter. A short preview…Cast Iron Skillet Collage

OMG I’m so jealous!!! I really need to just bite the bullet & invest in a good one. My MIL has one & she makes amazing meals with it, maybe I’ll ask for one for Christmas 🙂
