This is a first. In the history of my cocktail posts, I’ve never posted about Jello shots. Until now. But it’s St. Patrick’s Day so it seemed as good a time as any to talk about Jello shots, right?
I remember the very first time I saw Jello shots. I was a flower girl in my mom’s friend’s wedding and was in the limo to head to take photos. The adults were all eating Jello and the bride, being very thoughtful and accommodating, had set me up with the fixings for Shirley Temples. Between the twirly skirt on my flower girl dress and the Shirley Temples, I was one happy camper. But I wasn’t sure why the adults had Jello that I couldn’t have. I even asked my mom about it and she said I’d learn when I was older. Many, many years later, I learned about Jello shots. Which brings us to today. And the most perfect Jello shots to have you celebrating St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
